Metametics Uriel
Shown is two coats of Uriel over Finger Paints Beach Bound. Uriel is part of an Archangels mini collection which is currently not for sale because of expensive/hard to find ingredients. Which is really sad because look how pretty! Its a holo and a duochrome that shifts from blue to pink!

The duochrome is more evident in the shade and the holo really comes out in the sun.
Metametics can be purchased here. If you have any questions regarding her polish you can find Metametics on Facebook, Tumblr, and of course Etsy.

Metametics High Functioning Sociopath
High Functioning Sociopath was inspired by the BBC Sherlock series. It’s a deep blue jelly with medium sized blue hex glitter. Pictured is two coats, and as you can see this polish gives a great jelly sandwich look! I really love the dark base with lighter colored glitter.

Metametics Sunspear
Sunspear was inspired by the TV series Game of Thrones. Pictured is two coats over Essie Orange, It’s Obvious! Sunspear has a clear base and is filled with small red glitter, medium yellow and orange glitter, and red diamond glitter. I really love how this looks over Orange, It’s Obvious! even though it means not being able to see the medium orange glitter as well.
Application was great, the formula isn’t too thick so it was easy to do multiple coats of polish. The glitter dispersed evenly as well so I didn’t have to do any placement.
Sunspear is not currently for sale but you can find other Metametics polishes here. If you have any questions regarding her polish you can find Metametics on Facebook, Tumblr, and of course Etsy.

Metametics Lannister Gold
Lannister Gold was inspired by Game of Thrones. It is a honey colored jelly with gold hex and square glitter of varying sizes. One important note that I would like to make is that the bottle I received had large square glitter, but the large square glitter has since been removed due to problems with curling.
Pictured is two coats over a white base. At first I thought I might be able to make it opaque on it’s own, but that would have probably taken 6+ coats and that just wasn’t happening. This polish is a bit thicker so some underwear is definitely necessary. Despite the thick formula I didn’t run into many problems with application. The glitter was a bit trickier to get evenly dispersed on the nail, but it wasn’t unmanageable.
Lannister Gold can be purchased here. If you have any questions regarding her polish you can find Metametics on Facebook, Tumblr, and of course Etsy.

Metametics Not Your Housekeeper
Not Your Housekeeper was inspired by the BBC Sherlock series. It is a clear base filled with all sorts of shapes and sizes of various purples, and there are some flakies in there as well! Pictured is one coat over Sally Hansen Lacey Lilac.
This polish is a purple party! Which I love because it’s one of my favorite colors. I think that one coat gave me just the right amount of glitter, but its thin enough were you can add more coats without feeling like you’re globbing it on. I didn’t have to go “fishing” for glitter but I had to do a bit of placement just to make sure the bigger shapes didn’t all end up at my tips (see pinky).
Not Your Housekeeper can be purchased here. If you have any questions regarding her polish you can find Metametics on Facebook, Tumblr, and of course Etsy.

Metametics Valyrian Steel
Valyrian Steel was inspired by Game of Thrones and it is packed with holographic glitter of all shaped and sizes. Pictured is two coats over Lex Cayman Cabana. Unfortunately I got some bubbling but that was my own fault.
One thing I love about Valyrian Steel is that it’s a new take on holographic polish. Instead of a colored base with holographic pigment, it’s just a ton of holographic glitter! With this mani I kind of wish I had stuck with one coat, because sometimes I like the look of sparse glitter. The nice thing is that you can start with sparse glitter if that’s what you want, or you can work your way up to a glitterfest! I’d say that two coats is somewhere in between, maybe a glitter party?

Metametics Honey, You Should See Me in a Crown
This is two coats, and I was actually surprised at the fact that I only needed two! I thought this was going to be really sheer for whatever reason, but it wasn’t! This polish is inspired by the BBC Sherlock series, which I haven’t seen so no fangirling over this one (we’ll leave that for the next avatar polish!).
Honey, You Should See Me in a Crown is a red jellyish polish with a red shimmer and square, hex, and diamond shaped gold glitter. The larger glitters aren’t as plentiful as some of her other polishes, but I guess not everything can be a glitterbomb! You still get the jelly sandwich look with this though, which I really love.
Honey, You Should See Me in a Crown can be purchased here in mini ($4) and full ($10) sizes. If you have any questions regarding her polish you can find Metametics on Facebook, Tumblr, and of course Etsy.

Metametics Fire Nation
Each finger has two coats of Fire Nation over two coats each of (from index to pinky) Sally Hansen Black Heart, OPI Bullish on OPI, Essie Orange, It’s Obvious!, and Sinful Colors Pull Over. This is another Avatar the Last Airbender inspired polish and once again I’m in love. But really, what’s not to love about glitter? Well okay there’s the removal..
Two coats gave me a good amount of glitter without it being too thick and I didn’t have to do much placement, which is always nice. From the creator, “Fire Nation is filled with gold, crimson and orange glitter, suspended in a faintly tinted base.”

Metametics Water Tribe (part two)
From this picture you can see that this polish does have holographic particles (or whatever you wish to call them) BUT my camera wont capture how it actually looks in the sunlight. Thankfully (?) my camera will capture the holo indoors but the quality is just.. well…

Not the best. I had the same problem when trying to take pictures of Glitter Gal 10 to Midnight. Pretty in person, hard to capture on camera.
You can see part one of Water Tribe here.
Water Tribe is not currently in stock but if it were you would be able to find it here and you would have the option of buying a mini ($4) or a full size ($10) bottle. If you have any questions regarding her polish you can find Metametics on Facebook, Tumblr, and of course Etsy.

Metametics Water Tribe (Part 1)
Surprise! Another glittery blue! But this one is even better because it’s a holo! And I am well aware that the picture gives zero indication of that (unless you look at the bottle), but clouds meant that I couldn’t capture the holo on camera, so hopefully I will have better luck tomorrow so I can put up part two. :)
Despite lighting difficulties I think this polish is gorgeous no matter which way you look at it. I actually had no idea it was a holo when I first saw it and it was still one of my favorites. Pictured is two coats in natural light and it’s just… so pretty! Honestly you could throw any blue polish at me and I would probably think it’s pretty but that’s besides the point. I legitimately cannot stop staring at my nails.
